Blending innovative construction techniques with timeless craftsmanship, the design enhances both the functionality and character of the home.

A steel frame structure achieves a 14-metre clear span, creating an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining space. Timber joists support the flat roof, while stone walls and window surrounds seamlessly match the existing structure. Internally, the staircase was reconfigured for improved functionality and floor space, alongside adjustments to internal partition walls to create a more suitable layout. Reclaimed stone from demolished walls was reused to reduce waste and costs, with added stone detailing blending traditional and contemporary styles.

To further enhance the property, we are also constructing an outbuilding that houses an indoor swimming pool, designed to reflect the home’s traditional construction techniques and aesthetic.
